When a reporter asked Costolo whether Twitter will renew a recently expired deal with Google to show tweets as part of Google’s search engine, Costolo said “I don’t know.” He said the companies “can’t agree on what the appropriate value exchange is, and I don’t mean in terms of dollars.” He didn’t elaborate further.
